Arkade Developers Buys ₹148 Crore Land Parcel in Bhandup

Mumbai-based real estate company Arkade Developers has made another strategic move to strengthen its presence in the city’s central corridor. On September 3, the developer announced the acquisition of a 14,364 sq. m. land parcel in Bhandup (West) for ₹148 crore, further expanding its footprint in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR).

The deal was executed through a 100% shareholding acquisition in Woollen and Textile Industries Ltd, as per the company’s regulatory filing.

Strengthening the Central Corridor

With this acquisition, Arkade Developers aims to unlock new opportunities for urban transformation. Commenting on the development, Amit Jain, CMD of Arkade Developers, said:

“This acquisition highlights our vision of creating value-driven projects at prime locations. Backed by trust, timely delivery, and quality construction, we look forward to developing this land parcel into a meaningful addition to Mumbai’s skyline.”

Track Record of Growth

So far, the company has successfully delivered 31 projects totaling 5 million sq. ft. and currently has another 2 million sq. ft. under construction.

Some of its key developments in the central corridor include:

  • Arkade Earth, Kanjurmarg – a 4-acre project
  • Arkade Nest, Mulund – spread across 2 acres
  • Arkade Rare, Bhandup – a 3-acre development

Additionally, the company recently entered Thane’s real estate market with a 6.28-acre land acquisition, signaling its intent to expand across high-growth regions of MMR.

Branding Beyond Real Estate

Arkade Developers has also extended its presence beyond construction. On August 19, the company announced acquiring naming and branding rights for the Bangur Nagar Metro Station in Goregaon. The station, part of the Metro Line 2A corridor between Dahisar and Andheri, is now officially known as Arkade Bangur Nagar Metro Station.

This move reflects the developer’s commitment to increasing visibility while contributing to infrastructure that supports daily commuters and the area’s residential growth.
