Zomato’s Deepinder Goyal Registers ₹52.3 Cr Ultra-Luxury Apartment at DLF Camellias in Gurugram

Zomato co-founder Deepinder Goyal has officially registered his sprawling ultra-luxury apartment at DLF’s iconic residential project, The Camellias, in Gurugram — a purchase valued at a staggering ₹52.3 crore.

What’s the Story Behind the Purchase?

According to documents accessed by Zapkey, the registration of the property was completed in March 2025. The apartment, originally bought in August 2022 directly from real estate giant DLF, spans a massive 10,813 square feet and comes with five dedicated parking spots.

To complete the registration, Goyal paid a whopping ₹3.66 crore in stamp duty — a common figure for ultra-premium properties of this calibre.

A Palace in the Sky

Goyal’s new address — The Camellias in DLF Phase 5, Gurugram — is no ordinary apartment complex. Spread over 17.5 acres, this project offers what many call “7-star hotel living, 365 days a year.” With expansive units averaging around 10,000 sq ft, the property is a favourite among India’s elite — industrialists, startup founders, and CXOs alike.

Interestingly, a similar-sized apartment at The Camellias today is reportedly valued at over ₹140 crore, underscoring how premium and in-demand these residences have become.

The Real Estate Footprint of Deepinder Goyal

This isn’t Goyal’s first big-ticket real estate deal in the Delhi-NCR region. In February 2024, he also acquired a plot in Delhi’s posh Mehrauli area for ₹50 crore.

An alumnus of IIT Delhi, Goyal began his career at Bain & Company and co-founded Zomato (initially Foodiebay) with Pankaj Chaddah in 2008. Today, he’s among India’s most prominent tech entrepreneurs, and his real estate acquisitions mirror that stature.

Other High-Value Deals at DLF’s The Camellias

The Camellias has repeatedly made headlines for its jaw-dropping property transactions. Some notable ones include:

  • December 2024: Rishi Parti, founder & CEO of Info-X Software Technology, bought a penthouse for ₹190 crore.
  • February 2024: Smiti Agarwal, wife of V Bazaar CMD Hemant Agarwal, purchased a 10,000 sq ft apartment for ₹95 crore from a Singapore-based NRI.
  • October 2023: An 11,000 sq ft resale apartment was picked up for ₹114 crore, drawing comparisons with the most expensive deals in Delhi’s Lutyens zone.

Originally launched in 2014 at ₹22,500 per sq ft, The Camellias were sold as bare-shell units — allowing owners to craft their own bespoke luxury interiors.

Why The Camellias Is the Go-To Address for the Elite

With lavish green spaces, international-level security, world-class club facilities, golf course views, and a privacy-first design, The Camellias is more than just a place to live — it’s a lifestyle statement.

Those who once lived in sprawling kothis or standalone mansions are now opting for the unmatched convenience and prestige of this premium address on the edge of Delhi.
