The apartment interiors were reportedly crafted by celebrity designer Gauri Khan, known for designing lavish homes for several Bollywood celebrities and business tycoons. According to property registration documents accessed through real estate data platforms, the apartment has now been rented to Aditya Shukla under a five-year leave-and-license agreement. The deal includes a 5% rent escalation clause, ensuring gradual increases in rental value over the lease period. In addition to the monthly rent of ₹11 lakh, the agreement also includes a hefty security deposit of ₹45 lakh.

The rental figures once again underline the immense value attached to celebrity-owned homes in Mumbai’s premium locations, especially in areas such as Pali Hill, Bandra West, Juhu, and Worli, where high-net-worth individuals continue to seek luxury residences with exclusivity and prestige attached to them.

While the Pali Hill apartment has now been leased out, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt have already moved into the iconic Krishna Raj bungalow — the Kapoor family’s ancestral home in Mumbai. The property, reportedly valued at nearly ₹250 crore, has become one of the city’s most expensive and talked-about celebrity residences.

Named after Ranbir Kapoor’s grandmother, Krishna Raj Kapoor, the bungalow holds deep emotional significance for the Kapoor family. The property underwent years of extensive redevelopment and restoration before finally being completed in 2025.

Originally constructed almost eight decades ago, the bungalow was inherited by legendary actor Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor in 1980. Reports suggest that a special memorial room dedicated to Rishi Kapoor has also been created inside the house as a tribute to the late actor, who passed away in 2020 after battling leukaemia.
