In a significant leadership move, Mumbai-based real estate giant Lodha Developers Limited has announced the appointment of Amandeep Singh as its Regional CEO for Delhi-NCR, underscoring the company’s strong intent to expand its footprint in North India.

According to the company’s regulatory filing, Singh will officially assume charge on October 27, 2025.

A Proven Industry Leader with Over Two Decades of Experience

Amandeep Singh brings with him over 22 years of extensive experience in India’s real estate sector, with a proven record in P&L management, strategic growth planning, and institution building.

Before joining Lodha Developers, Singh served as Senior Executive Director (COO – Gurugram & North) at DLF Limited, where he played a key role in driving project launches and delivery across major northern markets.

At DLF, Singh was instrumental in achieving launch readiness for projects valued at ₹25,000 crore, spread across 14 million sq. ft. in the Gurugram and Chandigarh markets. His leadership also saw the successful completion of seven large-scale projects covering over 2 million sq. ft.

Strong Educational Foundation

An accomplished professional, Singh holds an MBA in Marketing and Systems from the Xavier Institute of Management, where he was a Gold Medalist, and a BE in Electronics and Telecommunication from the Army Institute of Technology.

Tenure at Godrej Properties

Prior to his stint at DLF, Singh spent a significant part of his career at Godrej Properties, where he held the position of CEO (East & West Zones). In this role, he managed operations across Pune, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, and Nagpur, overseeing P&L delivery and leading a team of over 400 professionals.

Lodha Developers’ Delhi-NCR Vision

The appointment comes at a pivotal time, as Lodha Developers accelerates its plans to enter the Delhi-NCR market. The company is expected to finalize one or more land deals in the region within the current fiscal year, paving the way for its first project launch in FY27, according to Managing Director & CEO Abhishek Lodha during the company’s Q1 FY26 earnings call held on July 28.

“We expect to enter Delhi NCR in the next 12 months and hope to launch in fiscal 2027. The region is a key growth market for us, and we plan to start with a pilot phase—moderate investments and a select number of projects—to deeply understand the market and build an efficient supply chain for operations and sales,” said Lodha.

Expanding Market Presence Across India

As per Lodha Developers’ Q1 FY26 investor presentation, the company’s market share is projected to more than double across key cities—Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR), Pune, and Bengaluru—by the end of the decade.

Currently, Lodha holds a 10% market share in MMR, expected to rise to 20% by the decade’s end. In Pune, its share is set to grow from 5% to 15%, while in Bengaluru, the company anticipates an increase from 2% to 12%.
