Bollywood actor Jaideep Ahlawat, known for his powerful roles in Raazi, Raees, and Paatal Lok, has made yet another significant real estate investment in Mumbai. Within just a month, Ahlawat and his wife Jyoti Hooda have purchased a second luxury apartment worth ₹10 crore in the same building in Andheri West—a hotspot for Mumbai’s elite.
What’s Inside the Deal?
The newly acquired apartment, registered on June 12, boasts a carpet area of 1,950 sq. ft. (approx. 181 sq. m.) and a built-up area of 2,341 sq. ft. (approx. 217.47 sq. m.). The deal also includes two car parking spaces, a stamp duty of ₹60 lakh, and registration charges of ₹30,000.
Interestingly, the apartment is nearly identical in size and value to another property the couple purchased in May 2025—located just a few floors away in the same building. That earlier acquisition came with four car parking spaces, the same stamp duty, and was also priced at ₹10 crore.
Both apartments were purchased from members of the Bansal family, specifically Dinesh Bansal and Kavita Bansal, as per property registration records.

Why Andheri West?
The choice of location isn’t surprising. Andheri West is one of Mumbai’s most vibrant and rapidly developing micro-markets. It offers seamless connectivity via the Western Express Highway, Link Road, SV Road, and the Versova-Andheri-Ghatkopar Metro Line.
Over the years, this neighbourhood has transformed into a buzzing hub of luxury residential complexes, co-working spaces, premium retail outlets, and entertainment zones. As per local real estate brokers, residential property rates in this area hover between ₹35,000 and ₹50,000 per sq. ft., making it both a prime location and a long-term asset.
Ahlawat’s Stellar Journey
Jaideep Ahlawat’s acting prowess has earned him immense critical acclaim. While his filmography includes notable appearances in Raees and Raazi, his career-defining role came with Paatal Lok in 2020, where he played a gritty Delhi cop. The performance not only won hearts but also bagged him the Filmfare OTT Award for Best Actor. His most recent role opposite Saif Ali Khan in Netflix’s Jewel Thief (2025) further cements his growing stardom.
The Bigger Picture
Buying two high-value apartments in the same premium building within a span of one month speaks volumes about Ahlawat’s financial confidence and trust in Mumbai’s luxury real estate market. While no official statement has been made by the actor or the Bansal family, the transactions reflect a strategic and possibly long-term residential investment.
