The Bigger Picture: Safeguarding Homebuyers
Currently, 51,481 projects are registered under MahaRERA, with cases filed against 5,792 of them. The authority highlighted that purchasing a home is often the single largest investment for buyers, and delays, poor construction standards, or missing amenities can cause severe distress.
By streamlining complaint resolution, MahaRERA continues to strengthen its role as a watchdog, ensuring that developers are held accountable and that buyers get the justice they deserve.
