Most of these <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/housiey.com\/blogs\/best-new-launch-projects-in-electronic-city-for-it-employees-2026-guide\">projects are already under construction<\/a><\/strong>, and several are expected to be ready within the year.<\/p>\n<p>The authority aims to complete sales of these homes within a three-year window, aligning with Bengaluru\u2019s rapid urban expansion and increasing housing needs.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Why_This_Launch_Matters\"><\/span><strong>Why This Launch Matters<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>With land availability becoming tighter in the city, BDA\u2019s move is focused on making better use of existing urban land while ensuring more housing options for buyers. This also reflects a shift towards planned, large-scale residential developments rather than scattered construction.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Current_Inventory_Snapshot\"><\/span><strong>Current Inventory Snapshot<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>BDA\u2019s recent housing performance gives a clearer picture of market demand. Out of nearly 4,800 units launched in recent years, around 65% have already been sold. This leaves close to 1,900 homes still available for buyers.<\/p>\n<p>Looking at the broader numbers, the authority has constructed over 6,700 units in the same period, out of which more than 4,300 have been successfully allotted. The remaining inventory includes a mix of apartments and villas.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Villa_Segment_Sees_Slower_Momentum\"><\/span><strong>Villa Segment Sees Slower Momentum<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>At Hunnigere, where BDA offered 322 villas through direct sales and e-auctions, demand has been relatively subdued. Only about 140 villas have been taken up so far, while others are either under auction or still open for booking.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Project-Wise_Sales_Performance\"><\/span><strong>Project-Wise Sales Performance<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Some projects have performed notably well:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Kaniminike has seen strong traction, with over 75% of its 1,500 flats already allotted.<\/li>\n<li>Aluru is close behind with nearly 76% sales, though a portion of EWS units is currently under renovation.<\/li>\n<li>Gunjuru and Thippasandra have also crossed the 70% sales mark, showing steady demand.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>On the other hand, Kommaghatta has seen slower absorption, with just over half of its units sold and a significant number still available.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"What_This_Means_for_Homebuyers\"><\/span><strong>What This Means for Homebuyers<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>For buyers, this upcoming launch could open up a range of options across different budgets and locations.
