However, when they attempted to return, the son barred them from entering.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Tribunals_Intervention\"><\/span><strong>Tribunal\u2019s Intervention<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In July 2023, the elderly couple approached the Maintenance Tribunal under the <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.
