The High Court had flagged delays, pending dues, and irregularities in development.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A bench of <\/span><b>Justice MM Sundresh and Justice Satish Chandra Sharma<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> stated that:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">OCs must be issued within six weeks for the six towers of Godrej Nest where applications are pending.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">These OCs will remain <\/span><b>conditional<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, subject to the final outcome of the SLP.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The order is <\/span><b>project-specific<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and cannot be used as precedent for other towers or allottees in the Sports City scheme.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Developers_Responsibilities\"><\/span><strong>Developer\u2019s Responsibilities<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The court further emphasized that the petitioner would remain responsible for ensuring the development of sports and recreational facilities as outlined in the <\/span><b>Sports City master plan<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and the sub-lease deed for the plot. All approvals must adhere to <\/span><b>Noida\u2019s building regulations and bye-laws<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Background: Allahabad High Court Order<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Allahabad High Court had earlier directed the Noida Authority to issue notices to all consortium partners of the Sector 150 Sports City project for recovery of long-pending dues. However, <\/span><b>Godrej Group officials did not comment<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> on the matter when contacted by the media.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"The_Larger_Sports_City_Project\"><\/span><strong>The Larger Sports City Project<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Launched between <\/span><b>2010 and 2016<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, the Sports City projects were planned across <\/span><b>798 acres<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> in Noida\u2019s Sectors 78, 79, 101, 150, and 152.
