Out of the \u20b96,500 crore allocated for New Nagpur, nearly \u20b93,500 crore will be spent solely on this financial centre.<\/p>\n<p>Located at Godhani Ladgaon (Rithi) in Hingna, the IBFC will be spread across 1,710 acres (692 hectares). Around 1,000 acres are reserved for the central business district, while 710 acres are kept aside for future expansion.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"What_Will_the_IBFC_Offer\"><\/span><strong>What Will the IBFC Offer?<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Planned to be developed over the next 15 years, the IBFC will focus on:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Establishing knowledge-based industries, startups, and MSMEs<\/li>\n<li>Providing a base for IT firms and corporate offices<\/li>\n<li>Offering residential and mixed-use spaces aligned with town planning norms<\/li>\n<li>Enabling single-window clearances for faster approvals<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The project will follow a plug-and-play model, integrating world-class infrastructure like:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Underground utility tunnels<\/li>\n<li>District cooling systems<\/li>\n<li>Automated waste collection and segregation plants<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"NBCC_to_Oversee_Development\"><\/span><strong>NBCC to Oversee Development<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>The National Building Construction Corporation (NBCC) has been appointed as the Project Management Consultant. An MoU has already been signed to oversee planning and execution. NBCC has called this project a landmark step in advancing Nagpur as a strategic financial hub, ensuring modern infrastructure and sustainable urban development.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Land_Acquisition_Updates\"><\/span><strong>Land Acquisition Updates<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>On September 14, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nmrda.org\/\">NMRDA<\/a> issued a public notice inviting landowners for direct negotiations rather than individual acquisition notices. A meeting was scheduled for September 19 for owners to present their documents, IDs, and register consent or objections.<\/p>\n<p>As per local property brokers, land prices in the identified villages currently hover around <strong>\u20b91.5\u20132 crore per acre<\/strong>, indicating the high-value nature of the project.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"The_Road_Ahead\"><\/span><strong>The Road Ahead<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>With this development, Nagpur is set to evolve beyond its identity as a logistics and educational hub into a <strong>vibrant commercial and financial powerhouse<\/strong>.
