Despite this, the authority has been steadily clearing backlogs and ensuring quicker redressal.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"MahaRERAs_Track_Record_Since_2017\"><\/span><b>MahaRERA\u2019s Track Record Since 2017<\/b><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Since its inception in May 2017, MahaRERA has:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\">Received 30,833 complaints in total.<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\">Resolved 23,726 complaints so far.<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\">Addressed 23,661 complaints linked to 3,523 pre-RERA projects.<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\">Settled 6,218 complaints involving 2,269 post-RERA projects.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The data reveals that 79% of disputes are tied to pre-RERA projects, while 21% concern projects launched after the authority came into existence.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em><strong>Also Read:-<a href=\"https:\/\/housiey.com\/blogs\/blogs\/maharera-2025-rera-maharashtra-registration-complaint-projects-agents\">MahaRERA 2025: RERA Maharashtra Registration, Complaint, Projects &amp; Agents<\/a><\/strong><\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"The_Bigger_Picture_Safeguarding_Homebuyers\"><\/span><b>The Bigger Picture: Safeguarding Homebuyers<\/b><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Currently, 51,481 projects are registered under MahaRERA, with cases filed against 5,792 of them.
