Neighboring districts such as Pune, Thane, and Raigad also experienced torrential downpours on August 18 and 19.<\/p>\n<p>Chief Minister Fadnavis described the situation as \u201cextremely crucial\u201d for areas placed under the IMD\u2019s red alert.
