An <\/span><b>e-tender for dismantling the structures<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> was floated on <\/span><b>March 17<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, soon after the DDA released a detailed <\/span><b>Standard Operating Procedure (SOP)<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> to guide the evacuation process in collaboration with the Resident Welfare Association (RWA).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The selected agency will not only be responsible for tearing down the structures but also for transporting the debris to an officially approved Municipal Corporation of Delhi dumping site.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Safety_First_Reconstruction_Next\"><\/span><b>Safety First, Reconstruction Next<\/b><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In its latest notice, the DDA urged residents to <\/span><b>leave the premises without further delay<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, citing serious concerns over structural safety. It emphasized that the evacuation is critical to kick-start the <\/span><b>demolition and eventual redevelopment<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> of the project.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The <a href=\"https:\/\/dda.gov.in\/\">DDA<\/a> has assured that <\/span><b>details regarding the reconstruction timeline and the facilitation amount<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u2014intended to support displaced residents\u2014will be communicated soon.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Rent_Compensation_A_Point_of_Contention\"><\/span><b>Rent Compensation: A Point of Contention<\/b><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Despite the evacuation order being enforced, compensation remains a grey area.
